3D Permanent Makeup Las Vegas – The one and only 3D Eyebrows.
Las Vegas Permanent Makeup & 3D Eyebrows
……..More
Natural Illusions
By Theresa Garcia
Permanent makeup Las Vegas – “3D Permanent Makeup and 3D Eyebrows?” What is it anyways?
My permanent 3D eyebrows have a unique look and break free from the typical permanent makeup style. We have all seen that obvious eyebrow tattoo that is harsh and defined as though a stencil and magic marker was used. I am not a fan. Most clients who seek my services are seeking a more natural look. It is not necessarily wrong to provide that sort of permanent makeup but it is just not my personal taste. Taste is relative. My desire to provide a less dramatic, non stenciled and conservative look is based on my personal taste. My personal taste is 3D eyebrows over magic marker : )
The Artist
I am an artist and by this I mean I actually paint, sketch, create and have done so all of my life. My artistic background gives me a very different perspective on color and the ability to create visual illusions. I blend, shade and understand how to make something look three dimensional or 3D. I was an artist well before I became a permanent makeup artist and this fact has been my greatest asset.
The Process

A light powder finish and a few weeks later some darker hair strokes AKA hair simulation was added. Several colors and two applications are what was required to create the 3D permanent eyebrows you see here.
When I coined the phrase 3D eyebrows about 6 years ago I did so because I did not want my art to get confused with other similar phrases. Technicians were describing their work as hair stroke, brush stroke and feather stroke but the work was much different than mine. I would see clients who looked like they had stitches, staples or grass growing out of their foreheads who got what their technician called “hair stroke eyebrows”. I do tattoo removal so I got to see a lot of this. In no way was the work blended, shaded or realistic. So I began to refer to my hair strokes as 3D but then so did others. I trademarked the 3D Tri-ColorTM.

Only a little blending on the thinner outer wings but more defined and darker hair strokes on the thicker portion. This client wanted a more crispy 3D eyebrow result.
My 3d Tri-ColorTM eyebrows are not just unique in name but also in the actual process. I have custom manufactured equipment and needles that are specifically designed for me, by me. I do not sell or supply anyone who I have not trained with these tools. I instruct my students in the 3D tri-Color process, proper color theory, skin biology, effective pain management and only when they have mastered these things can they utilize the tools to make this 3D process possible.

Eyebrows are not one size fits all. As you can see, every client had a different idea of beauty and what they thinks looks the best on them. Every client is unique and different. Custom design is a must for each and every client.
My 3D Permanent Eyebrows are my art. My clients are my living canvas…….

A softer more blended 3D eyebrow makeup for clients who want a permanent makeup that is more of a powder finish.
Above: This is a very soft blended hair stroke. More of a powder finish and no crisp or defined hair strokes.
The 3D Tri-ColorTM / 3D Permanent Makeup 5 step process:
- The client fills out their health background and consent paperwork.
- We numb the area for about 30 minutes. Good pain management is very important as we can not have a client who is cringing in pain, distorting the canvas. We can not have a client in pain who might move. A good result depends greatly on good pain management.
- The client and I work together to draw the perfect eyebrows on their face. Once we have the perfect shape and the client says “This is exactly how I want my eyebrows”, I simply tattoo over that drawing. I do not deviate from that shape. Once the client gives the OK and approves the drawn shape, that is what they get.
- The client heals, uses ointment and comes back for a retouch or second application about 3-5 weeks later.
- The End : )

Remember one very important detail. No matter how great a permanent makeup or tattoo artist may be, how well the procedure area heals has everything to do with the end result. A properly healed cosmetic tattoo will provide excellent pigment retention, fade less and be most true to initial application. It is the clients responsibility to follow the after care instructions. Your work and art are just fantastic. I have yet to see such attractive permanent makeup as yours. I have been looking at a lot of permanent makeup after pictures and many sites but none have struck me as natural looking. I really like the fact that you are an artist. I too am an artist so I appreciate that special something you bring to the art of permanent makeup.
Thank you for such refreshing information. Your pictures are great but I really enjoy your sharing of information on permanent makeup. I have read generic and general information on the subject on other sites but yours is a little different. It is good that you provide so much information and really research your shares. I like knowing my permanent makeup artist is knowledgeable and passionate.
My only issue is that i do not live in Las Vegas. I am going on vacation there in the spring with my husband and I am thinking I need to schedule an appointment with you!
Shirly,
Thank you for all the kind words. I do love what I do.
I sent you an email with your paper work, health background, pre procedure and after care instructions. Please review all information. You can have all your paper work already filled out when you come in.
I would love to schedule you for your permanent makeup services. You can schedule through the on line scheduling system for a consultation or the full procedure/procedures you desire. I suggest you schedule a month in advance.
Please contact me directly through the email I sent you if you have any further questions prior to your trip to Las Vegas and your permanent makeup procedure.

Hi Theresa, I am interested in doing the 3D hair stroke eyebrows. I have had permanente makeup done before, in fact I did it last year, but for some reason my eyebrows are still very light. My last touch up was on october 2011, (we touched up my eyebrows about 3 times last year at the place where I got it done) . since we did it so many times in one year , should I wait before getting them done again?
Thank You
I think you should come in. Ill look at them for free.
I AM THRILLED! I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND YOU AND THIS SITE! I AM SCHEDULING NOW! I WANT MY EYEBROWS DONE BY THERESA AND NO ONE ELSE. I FOUND MY GIRL.
LOL.. I am very happy that you found what you are looking for. : )
Hi Teresa, Are you teaching? Do you have class for permanent makeup? If not which class do you recommend in Las Vegas? Let me know. Thanks!
I take on an assistant from time to time but I am not doing so right now. It is time I don’t have too much of at the moment! I suggest looking up a good 6 month school to start out with. I am not really excited about any in Las Vegas. I wish I could be more help. I have been to several schools and taken a lot of advanced classes. I can’t say that there has been one good school that can teach amazing permanent makeup. It takes time and a lot of experience. So I do not advise any of the 3 day or one week classes. Those are silly. You need at least a 6 month class in Clark County Nevada to get your license.

I read your news article then followed the address here I really like your take on permanent makeup and the tips in that article. It is good to have a little more knowledge so I can make a good decision. I do not live in Las Vegas so I will be looking for a permanent makeup girl in Dallas TX but I really love your work and the articles you have written. It has really given me a good understanding of what is out there and what I need to look for. If I lived in Las Vegas I would be in your office this week! If you have anyone you can refer me to in Dallas, I would sure love it!
I emailed you a link to a girl I trained who is in Texas along with some pictures of her work. Feel free to call her and set up a consultation. She is quite good.
I need a re touch I came in a couple of years ago and you did my eyebrows with the whole 3d look but it has faded badly so how much is a retouch going to costs because I’m back to coloring it in now. But I just had them done I just thought they would have last longer?
Indeed they can fade out in a few years. If light colors are used this will happen faster. It is the one issue that can not be denied with light colors. Blonds and light browns will fade faster than black or darker browns. Sun exposure is a huge factor. Sun worshipers will most likely soften very rapidly. It is recommended that an SPF of 50+ be used DAILY no matter what. This will GREATLY reduce fading. Please schedule an appointment with me. I will take care of you for the cost of anesthetic and a needle charge. We can do a powder effect finish with 3d hair simulation. This will pack in the color and prevent fading. However, you must get a good quality sunblock. I have several appropriate ones you can choose from. I will fix you right up doll!
Do you do correction? I have slightly off colored eyebrows that were done years ago. I want them thicker too. Your work looks great by the way. I wish I would have known about you years ago but permanent makeup in Las Vegas was not that popular when I got mine.
I do a great deal of permanent makeup correction and removal. Schedule an appointment for a free consultation online at http://permanentmakeup-spa.com or http://axiomspa.com so I can take a look at what you have. We can discuss your options at that time.

I just moved to Las Vegas and I am looking for permanent makeup for my mom. She can no longer see very well and she sure loves her cosmetics. She won’t leave the house without being all dolled up. She is 74 years old and it is ver difficult for her to get her makeup just right. Actually, she can look a little foolish. I love her to death and she is the best most sweet mom in the world. I want to get her eyebrows, lips and eyeliner done. Can this be all done at once?
Yes it can all be done at once. I provide a great discount when several procedures are done at the same time. Your mother will have to fill out a health background with medications and basic health questions. We want to make sure she is healthy enough for permanent makeup. If she gets all 3 services at once, make sure she isn’t driving herself, has sunglasses and ice packs at home to ice the areas after the appointment. Please schedule a consultation so we can discuss her needs and get a good game plan for the desired results.
Thanks! Hope to see you soon.
I really want to get a scar where my eyebrow hair doesn’t grow covered. I don’t want all my eyebrows done but just a section where I’m missing hair. I got in a car accident where my head got hit with glass. Can we do your magical hair stroking in only a spot?
I do scar revision and hair replacement simulation quite a bit. It is really not uncommon. Yes, we can cover that one area up with my “magical hair stroking”. LOL …. It is a fairly simple appointment. I can match your eyebrow hair color. I custom mix all my pigments to get the exact color. Come in and see me so we can discuss it further. I do not do ANY OF MY OWN SCHEDULING. All scheduling has to go through the on line booking schedule. I hope you do so you can have a full eyebrow back. Permanent makeup can be a wonderful treat!
Bam! This is exactly what I’ve been searching for for a while. I looked up the spa siteand saw you guys run new client specials. I didn’t see any for eyebrows but for o her permanent makeup. Are you going to run any for eyebrows? I just see other places cheaper and want to save money if I can and get a special.
I’m sorry Las Vegas! I never discount my 3D eyebrows. They are a lot of work and take two appointments. They are my claim to fame, so to speak. They are actually going to be going up in price this year. I know there are cheap places and if you like their work than go for it. However, certain imposters or copy cats try to claim 3D Tri-ColorTM but I did invent my process and my tools are custom manufactured specifically for me. It is highly doubtful that a bargain permanent makeup deal is equivalent to my work. The simple truth is that permanent ccosmetics is mostly art and every artist is unique.
Can you do this on oily skin? I have very oily skin and my eyebrows always melt off. Does your permanent makeup work well on my skin type? I live in Henderson and I am very interested in getting this done by you.
Are you the only one who does this?
Also, your work is very good. I love the pictures.
Yes I am the only permanent makeup provider in the office. We offer a variety of other aesthetic services and treatments but PMU is all me and only me.
Oily skin is no problem and it sounds like this may be the answer to your problem.
Thank you for the positive feedback. I appreciate it!
My name is Elizabeth and I was looking @ your work on your website, I am very impressed by the pictures. I would live to schedule an appointment , please give me a call Thank you
I am sorry but I don’t do any of the scheduling. ALL scheduling has to go through the web booking system. Look at the link to schedule on this page and it will take you where you need to go.
I had my eyebrows done 7 years ago and they are very light. I want to have you do them with your 3d. I also have my breasts reconstructed and want to get the areola tattoo. Im a cancer survivor who finally got breasts again! I understand that you do the breasts too. I don’t see any pictures online of that procedure. Can you explain the cost and direct me to some pictures of your work on breasts with areola color?
I am sure I can help you with your eyebrows. I also do a great deal of breast restoration and scar revision but I do not post breast pictures on line. I have loads of pics in my office that you can view upon a free consultation. These pictures are of a private nature and I have never posted them on line. You can schedule on line anytime. The cost can be $200 to $600 but I can not really provide a good quote without seeing you for a consultation.
I absolutely love your work! I have seen tons of other pictures of “permanent eyebrows” but they always seem to look harsh or have that sharpie marker look. Your work looks so natural and realistic! Do you have any referrals for an artist who can do the same type of wor in the Colorado area?
I am sorry but I don’t. My work is largely my own personal taste and style of artistic aesthetics. No two artists can paint the same picture even if they have the same canvas, brushes and paint with. I’ve actually given up instructing and no longer take apprentices because it has become apparent that I can not teach anyone to duplicate my art. So unfortunately, I can not say that I know anyone in Colorado who does my 3D Tri-ColorTM permanent makeup.
Theresa
You did my cousins lip liner and it looks so great. Hers is really thick and blended on the inside to her real lip color. I love it. I want that too but I get cold sores and she told me I can not get it done because I won’t take the lip color. Is there a special ink or method to help me?
With permanent lip liner, cold sores are an issue. However, if your PCP prescribes an anti-viral medication I can provide excellent pigment implantation. Your retention goes way up so long as we repress an outbreak. Typically when one is on medication 5 days prior and 5 days post procedure, we get great pigment retention. I suggest you schedule a free consult so I can check for pre-existing scar tissue and give a more accurate assessment.
Thanks
Theresa
Hi Theresa,
I am interested in having a painting done. Would you possibly be available to discuss a project with me?
Thank you,
Casey
Sure, shoot me an email directly. I may not have time to do commission work until after the 1St of the year. My permanent makeup clients keep me quite busy this time of year.
I would like an appointment, for permanent eyebrow. with Theresa.
That’s great! You can schedule on line. All scheduling goes through the booking system. Just click on the scheduling page. If you are on a smart phone, select menu, then the scheduling page. Once you select Designer Eyebrows, you can choose the time. You can be scheduled in just a couple minutes.
I had permanent makeup eyebrows done a year ago in Las Vegas by a place in China Town. It was really cheap and it hurt like hell. She got me in the same day and promised free retouches. My eyebrows were not even and they were all one color and painted on looking. It scabbed all up and all came off in a week. I wanted her to fix them and do my free retouch but somehow they couldn’t get me in for months! Suddenly they were all booked up. I decided I didn’t like this shady practice and was grateful they faded completely away. I am in love with your eyebrow pictures and really am impressed with all your reviews. I have seen you on Yelp, Google and just about everywhere I look for reviews. I have some questions though.
1. Why did my eyebrows totally fade off?
2. Are some people just resistant to tattoo or pernanent makeup?
3. Do you offer free retouch or at least guarante your work?
Cheap permanent makeup seldom works out in Las Vegas. Quality work is time consuming and effective anesthetic for proper pain management cost money. I’m sorry about your experience. The fact that your permanent eyebrows faded off is probably a good thing since they were not even.
Letting the area dry out or not properly caring for the area will cause scabs and massive loss of color. Good after care is a must if you want to keep your color. It is a tattoo and so long as you heal well, there is no reason you should not be able to hold pigment.
I provide a free retouch with most procedures.
I do guarante my work but I don’t guarante how you heal after the fact. I provide you with a wealth of information and ointment for after care so you should have great results.
I had permanent eyebrows done in Scottsdale Arizona by an older lady named Sally Hayes a few years back. I was unhappy with how pink my brown color turned and how it faded. As it faded it turned more and more pink. It never looked natural and it never made me feel attractive. She did not offer the type of work you offer. I have not seen work that looks like yours until now. I live in Mesa Arizona but would be willing to come to Las Vegas if you think you can fix my pink eyebrows and make me look natural.
In my industry, simple color fixes and general permanent makeup corrective services are typically done by the original technician. In being fair and ethical, technicians should refer clients back to the technician who did the work first. Only in the case that the technician can not, will not or is unable to provide acceptable corrective measures should a client seek out another technician.
Most technicians stand by their work and strive to make their clients happy. Sally Hayes has a good reputation and years of experience so I suggest you call her and see what she suggests first. She does lovely work from what I have seen. Her technique and style may be different than mine but that is a matter of just different taste and taste is relative.
I don’t know her personally but I can say that I do not get corrective work from her. I have never seen a botched job by her. That is saying a lot!
I am looking for a good permanent makeup professional for my beautiful wife. She is set on getting her eyebrows and eyeliner done. I am dead set against it. I have only seen some absurdly obvious jobs (my mother) and it seemed a bad deal to me. She saved your site on our bookmarks to show me. I like your on line scheduling. We will see you this Saturday. Have a great Sunday.
You photos are amazing. That must be said. I have been to two consultations here in Las Vegas and have not committed to a specialist yet. One place had a crazy old man who did my consultation and he wasn’t even the one who was doing the work. He claimed that he invented permanent makeup. I got out of there. I had another consultation with a lady who bragged about how she was the best in town and made me feel like I should be grateful she got me in. Her place was in a nicer salon and was more professional than the dark dreary place I had gone to before. I was turned off by the whole thing. I’m considering permanent eyebrows again if I feel comfortable. I have to say that no one I have seen so far produced pictures as good as yours! I do have some questions first, if you don’t mind.
1. What kind of place do you provide your services in?
2. What kind of ink do you use? Is it natural organic?
3. Can you provide references?
Thanks!
I got permanent makeup by another place a year ago. It is bright purple now! I have PURPLE eyebrows!!! Can you help me???
Hi Theresa,
Are you still teaching? I am interested in taking your course. I live in miami but should have some vacation time coming up. how much is it and when is the next class. I am a licensed practicing esthetician.
Well it is a 6 month apprenticeship and it is $6000. You have to take the test with the health district, get your blood born pathogen, CPR and first aid certification prior to starting. If you have 5 years or more already as a permanent makeup technician I can simply teach you my advanced techniques and sell you the custom equipment/needles you need in order to do my 3D techniques. The training would be 5 days at least and $3000. In order for me to consider you I would need to see your portfolio and get 3 professional recommendations. I hope this helps.
The best permanent makeup I have ever seen. Your 3D permanent eyebrows are stunning. I love your work and the fact that you are a gifted artist. I too am an artist so I really appreciate you. I paint and airbrush on canvas and do wall murals.
I have been looking into a permanent makeup school because I want to learn this skill. I am also interested in doing body art tattoo. I have been very dissatisfied with the offerings of the local classes here in Florida for permanent makeup. They are 2 to five days!
Do you have any advice or recommendations?
Honestly, apprenticeship with a real tattoo artist will really give you a great education. You already want to do body tattooing so that is the best route. It takes about 6 months to a year of apprenticeship. Just call around to some shops and research some good body art places.
Once you are proficient in body art then take one of those permanent makeup classes. It is sad but those little weekend classes are really not that great to learn. You don’t have enough skill to be working on faces in only a few days. I wish those classes didn’t exist because alone they aren’t nearly enough education. With a solid foundation in body art and a good apprenticeship under your belt the quickie classes will be great but one of those classes without apprenticeship is not at all appropriate to master cosmetic tattoo.
My experience and education is a combination of an apprenticeship of body art/traditional tattoo and a variety of permanent makeup schools. I take different classes and advanced courses on new methods or equipment. The SPCP and AAM have a lot of resources for these classes. I can say that my real education and best skills come from learning traditional body art tattooing. You meet real artists with so much talent who do tattoos. Also, blending, shading and excellent tattoo color theory is what I learned in apprenticeship not in permanent makeup school/classes.
A lot of permanent makeup professionals may really dislike this advice and will strongly disagree with me. That is fine by me. I do permanent makeup correction and removals every day. Why are there so many bad jobs? We just have too many fast food style permanent makeup classes that spit out “certificates” to unskilled technicians. I can teach anyone to put pigment in the skin in 15 minutes but can they do it well? I think not!
If you are seriously passionate about doing permanent makeup and tattoos then learn the best way, not the fastest. This takes time to learn.
Excellent articles.
I would love to get more information and maybe make an appointment…. Thank you
There is an abundance of information on this site about my permanent makeup. If you need further information, it is imperative that you schedule a free consultation. You can do so on line any time.
I would love to learn your method and your 3d Permanent Makeup is beyond beautiful. I would like to schedule a time to talk to you
I am very sorry but I am not taking any apprenticeships or students at this time. I have been fully booked with my clients and can’t give students the time and attention they deserve. Thank you for the interest in learning my method of permanent makeup.
Nice post. Vegas is really one of the best destinations in the USA… Sin City has a lot to offer when it comes to entertainment and beauty services. I think most people associate Vegas to gambling too much nowadays. Las Vegas has some of the best beauty services too. I get a lot of treatments on my trips there because myblittle home town has little to offer. I am going to be in town next friday night through monday. I was wondering if you could fit me in for permanent eyebrows, a facial and microdermabrasion.
Actually all scheduling goes through the on line booking system. Permanent makeup is only offered Tuesday – Friday but facials and skin care (with Cami Bech) is available 7 days a week.
